[ARCHIVED] July 23, 2018 - UPDATE #32 - Hall Street Project Phase II

32-HallStreetProgressUpdate

Hall Street Project Update for the Week of July 23 – 27

The City would like to remind residents that the businesses remain open and that access to Gateway Plaza and 625 Hall Street is from Lakeside Drive via the Cedar Street detour route.

The past week on the Hall Street project progressed with the placement of fill behind new sidewalk and curbs, instillation of light bases and continued instillation of the large storm water main in the southern portion of the 100 Block of Hall Street.

Drivers and pedestrians appear to be adjusting to the new traffic pattern. Flaggers are present at the intersection of Cedar & Front and the intersection of Hall & Front, to help pedestrians cross at these locations. This area is extremely busy and it is requested that both drivers and pedestrians observe the construction signage, follow the direction of the flaggers and to exercise caution and courtesy while traveling through the area.

In the week of July 23 – 27 McNally will be working on electrical duct work, lighting bases and prepping for the curbing on the north side of the Hall & Lakeside Drive intersection as well as in the parking lot north of the intersection. Marwest will be continuing with the storm system work in the southern portion of the 100 Block of Hall Street.
