Giveout Creek Turn-off

Training Event This Evening – Monday, October 30, 2017

Nelson, BC - Nelson Fire and Rescue Services would like to advise the public that Nelson Fire and Rescue Services, along with assistance from Beasley, North Shore, and Blewett Fire Departments, will be conducting water shuttle certification this evening.

The public may notice fire trucks travelling on the highway between Nelson and Giveout Creek Forest Service Road from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 8:30pm.

This certification training is required by Fire Underwriters Survey to show proficiency in providing water for structure fires in areas without hydrants.
