SIGN-UP TODAY FOR THE NEW “NELSON EMERGENCY ALERTS”!

BE PREPARED FOR AN EMERGENCY

The City of Nelson has launched a new Emergency Alert system for people who live, work, shop and visit Nelson.

By signing up, you will receive a text, email or voice call notifying you of any developing emergencies that impact Nelson.

Types of emergency situations include: wildfires, flooding, hazardous spills, severe weather, evacuation alerts/orders, missing persons.

The City encourages everyone to sign-up for BOTH the City of Nelson and Regional District of Central Kootenay Emergency Alert systems to ensure you are informed of all emergency events within our region.

 

It only takes a couple of minutes to sign-up!
