PAVING WORK ON BAKER STREET
The City of Nelson would like to advise the public of upcoming paving work in the downtown core.
Crews will be milling off the existing road surface and overlay with new pavement. This work is subject to favourable weather and will be completed between 7:00am and 5:00pm daily.
Kootenay Street & Baker - October 12th
Stanley Street & Baker - October 13th
Josephine Street & Baker - October 14th
Ward Street & Baker - October 15th
Expect periodic road closures and single-lane traffic control. On-street parking will be prohibited in the impacted areas for the duration of the project. Parked cars will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Traffic control personnel will allow access for pedestrians.
Transit users should look for signage at local stops for ridership information.
